About the Author

Nivien Saleh is an Assistant Professor of International Studies at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. She received her Ph.D. from American University in Washington, DC, and her M.A. from Albert-Ludwigs Universität in Freiburg, Germany. She has taught at American University, Northern Arizona University, and the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX, and published on globalization, technology, and the politics of the Middle East.
